Community Guidelines

The short version
Be kind, be safe, keep it legal. FST community spaces - the forum, bulletin board, reviews, chat, and group outings - exist so students can support each other. These guidelines apply to all of them.
Respect everyone
This is an LGBTQIA+ and Allies space. Harassment, hate speech, slurs, misgendering people on purpose, or dogpiling gets content removed and repeat offenders suspended. Disagree with ideas all you like - kindly, and never at people.
Safety first
Never encourage unsafe firearm handling or post advice that contradicts the fundamental safety rules. I remove dangerous advice when I see it - flag it if you see it first.
Keep it legal
Don't use FST community spaces to buy, sell, or trade firearms, ammunition, or regulated parts, and don't ask for or offer ways around any law. Pointing people to licensed dealers and official resources is always welcome.
Peer conversation, not professional advice
Legal and medical topics come up naturally here. Treat what you read as peer conversation - for anything that matters, talk to a licensed attorney or medical professional.
Privacy
Never post someone else's personal information, and get consent from everyone recognizable in range-day photos before sharing them. What's shared at an outing stays at the outing unless people say otherwise.
Moderation
Community spaces are for adults 18 and older. Posts may be held for review before they appear. I may edit or remove content and suspend accounts that break these guidelines. To report something or appeal a decision, email Anth@FirearmSafetyTeam.com.
